Founded by Mark Sickavish, a BCIT-trained carpenter and skilled project manager, Mavish Homes was born from a passion for craftsmanship and client care. Mark’s hands-on approach and dedication to precision stem from his belief that “Mavish”—meaning “blessing of life”—is reflected through every renovation we undertake.

At Mavish Homes, my goal is to streamline the building process, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently within your time and budget constraints. I leverage my carpentry skills, acquired through BCIT, alongside my project management experience, to manage Design + Build renovations in the Metro Vancouver area. With a commitment to exceptional quality and integrity, I manage every aspect of your renovation project, providing a professional and seamless experience from start to finish while working with some of the best designers, engineers, consultants and trades in the industry. The name “Mavish” is rooted in family—it’s a blend of the names MacLean and Sickavish and carries the meaning “blessing of life.” But it goes deeper than that.
